hi everyone!
i'm back after a long holiday weekend in chicago. we went to a family reunion and the taste of chicago, so needless to say there was plenty of food to grub on. i think i did okay. i'd give myself a C+. i ate some things i shouldnt have but i kept my pedometer on and walked between 7,000-15,000 steps per day.
i had a great time and the best part is i'm only up 2 lbs. and its quickly dropping off. so thats good. usually on vacation i gain 4-5 lbs. so ill take the 2. my planning ahead was a good idea and even though i splurged, i tried to make healthy choices. i even ate a "tofu salad sandwich" on wheat bread at the airport. it was spicy and surprisingly delicious. i'd like to try to find a recipe for a similar version.
got to the gym today and back on the points system. this weekend i am going home to see a friend and then saturday night D, my sister, her bf and i are going to a friend's joint birthday party. ill try to save up all the flex for that.
feels good to be back in my routine :)

You're a braver woman than me - don't know if I could try a tofu salad sandwich at an airport!! heehee
I've never tried tofu before in my life! If you get the recipe, pass it on!

I was JUST on the ON website befor eI read your comment and I was looking at those jeans. I really like them a lot and I'm hoping to find them tonight. I'll let you know how I make out! Thanks for the tip!
